My heart leaps up when I behold

a rainbow in the sky.

하늘의 무지개 

 

내 마음은 하늘의 무지개를 바라 보면 뛰노니

내 생애가 처음 시작했을 떄도 그러했고 

성장한 지금도 그러하고, 내가 늙어 죽어 갈 때도 그러하리라.

 

어린애의 성품은 어른이 되어서도 마음의 기초이니

자연에 대한 경건한 마음으로 서로 보듬는 시절로 가고 싶어라.

오! 하늘의 무지개 여!
